People Over Profit is both a real estate development company and a deep-rooted philosophy.  In our case, the mission manifests itself in concrete and wood and glass and paint. 

We are a small company that creates human-scaled, thoughtful, curated, community-centered affordable housing projects, predominantly in Portland, Oregon.  We are nimble and we are fast.  We value creative design, small local contractors, and simple solutions to the complex problem of housing affordability.  We run into the burning building, not away from it; and our sole goal is to hand keys to our neighbors who would otherwise have few-to-no options to call home.
